Sigh, blogger have inserted some kind of automatic toolbar at the top of my page. It makes a total mess of the css code. I've hidden it now and done some quick code editing to make the page at least readable (e.g set the main column to a fixed width), but I need to work on it and get things back to normal, maybe convert to a table layout.
